Omega Shinkai – GNOSISONG

June 7, 2010 Posted by Orica

Today I bring you the first single from the new project in which Noriko Mitose and Mizawa Aki, are participating, Nekobanana.

So far they released two singles, so hopefully get an album! I hope that will be useful.

ythm
Interpretation is not famous Mizawa Aki. Although it is mentioned that his voice is very beautiful, although it remains to be a lot like Noriko Mitose.

白と黒の祭儀
Here we have a song Mitose-san. His voice here and the chorus line, are wonderful, also, if you stop a little bit in the letter (if you know anything about Japanese … well, it is not my mother tongue as if it were the Japanese, the little I need to know xDD) you can feel it more. His interpretation is masterful, and the musical style is like that normally hear in the Ero-ge, but the difference is not Nekobanana ero … or so I have believed.

砂の城
Second song from Mizawa-san. Unlike above, this has much more feeling. You really like that style of JPop-Ballad. It’s relaxing, it is quiet. If you continue as is, insurance becomes a Utahime as Mitose.

Well, then there are the instrumentals of each song.

Ar Tonelico 3 Hymmnos Concert : SAKIYA=RUMEI

May 20, 2010 Posted by Orica

Many bloggers and lovers of RPGs I must sound the name of PATRICK GANN, that guy who makes some Reviews of games and RPG video game music on your website very comprehensive and with a point of view where subjectivity sometimes has its place (to visit your wonderful WEB http://www.rpgfan.com/). Well, like all fans of Ar Tonelico should already know, both as the OST Concert Hymmnos have already been released in Japan on 27th January (a term that has not reached a view on Oricon pocision). The thing is that when I get them and I hear, I feel too many things, things that I want to convey here today.

Of course, the first concert Hymmnos I wanted to hear was the Blue side. The artists who appear here are: Akiko Shikata, Yoko Ueda and one of my new favorite, KOKIA.

Legend of Ar tonelico III
The ambient atmosphere of the song tend to hook it to them in this new world, then, gradually, we move forward, to find out everything hacerca it. And coming float, we land. The usual electronic voices speak to us, and we feel like at home. Slowly the sounds cease, and as running a program, we heard a prelude least what I’ve been waiting a very long time …

Utau Oka -HARMONICS TILIA-
As in the depths of the sea of death, I feel that something big is being born, something immense. He wakes up and moves, screams. silence, and begins to lift. The percussions fit perfectly, the chorus echo the depths of my being, as if synchronized with my cell. I am very happy to have this song, it is as it should be. HARMONICS EOLIA and HARMONICS FRELIA has a strong bond, and HARMONICS TILIA has come to join them. I personally think that is what Utau Oka must have for Ar Tonelico. It is well set, although I must admit that the style of the choir at the beginning of scary, and even a bit hard for me to understand, that think Tsuchiya-san to compose this song? Who knows … What if I have to say is that finally the trilogy of “Utau Oka ‘is complete … O_O No! Lack full version! I’m glad to hear it!

Inori no Kanata

May 10, 2010 Posted by Orica

Goes on sale tomorrow’s new single Akiko Shikata, Inori no Kanata. I’m done hearing it and here’s my impression.

TETHE’ALLA -Tai no Kodomotachi-
A wonderful introduction in a language written in the booklet comes out (what I guess my friend Aquagon be altered when you see it ever x_x). It has a certain resemblance to Daichi no Kodou (introduction of Raka), but this is more energetic, stronger, but the instrumentation, in my view, is lower. Anyway is a great song, very expressive.

Inori No Kanata
And had heard in a Sample, but hear it fully and in good quality was different. What a great song, with a chorus full of expression. Akiko’s voice goes very soft, but when they enter the chorus becomes very expressive. It should be noted that my beloved Noriko Mitose wrote the song (So … Hey Aqua-kun! Wait an excellent translation of his part!). It’s very epic, almost film. Although I am a little disappointed that Akiko is always occupying the figures 6 / 8 to compose their songs. So, now, they are well done and professional, and all they want, but still … there are more numbers! xDD. Does not cease to be the song that is spectacular.

Akakakushi
y first impression when I finished hearing this song was like uhhhh narcotic. It is one of the best pop songs of style (in quotes because it is not pop) that I have listened to Akiko, after Kaze to Rashinban. Has a very traditional Japanese music to”pop”made. This very well done, I like the rhythm is almost danceable. Now I can go making me an idea of what will be the video game that owns this song (New game HACC * Works Company, who made Hanakisou). This has turned into one of my favorites, quickly.

Navigatoria

May 4, 2010 Posted by Orica

Hated, loved, Navigatoria is by far the most controversial album of the artist Akiko Shikata.

The fact that the artist has wanted incursions into many styles far removed from his usual classic style resulted in many fans feeling a kind of rarity. But in my opinion, I think Navigatoria is itself the result of all the experiences and ideas of Akiko, somehow, because if they listened to the album with good depth, begin to notice that although she was the one who arranged each of the songs, then it is because there is something”out there”that is, I should have listened to jazz, rock had to be heard, must have heard many things because frankly is not to arrive and make the album! Come on, that Akiko is a musician after all! Some syntetisis of everything that has ever heard has to be, do not you think?

Siren
To get into the album, Akiko takes us to some Greek sea shore, where he begins to sing a beautiful mermaid. His song melozo hypnotizes me and makes me feel really like Ulysses. 6 / 10

Navigatoria
Bearing the title song of the album, and is dedicated to the Stars. After the magic spell of the siren, I reach the sea. That is, when I hear this, leads me to the ground, takes me out of sleep, and brings me to reality. Despite its softness, has a pulse super Navigatori marked, so when soil sing this, I never miss, song is a delight. 7.8/10

Suiren
Here we hear something else … cool. As new. It would have been very good in the OST of Hanakisou. It has a leisurely pace but fluid. In that sense it is similar to MARE, as it has a rhythm that comes and goes like the sea. Has a very melancholy and nostalgic. 5.6/10

Oh smania! oh furie!… D’Oreste, d’Aiace

July 24, 2009 Posted by Orica

Akiko Shikata’s song from Shadow Hearts : From The New World. This song is from an opera called Idomeneo by Mozart, by the way. The lyrics are purely in Italian language.

Oh smania! oh furie…
O rage! O fury…

Oh disperata Elettra!
O Electra, plunged into despair!

Addio amor, addio speme!
Farewell love, farewell hope!

Ah, il cor nel seno già m’ardono
Already in my breast the pitiless Furies

l’Eumenidi spietate.
are setting my heart aflame.

Misera, misera,
Wretched, wretched woman:

a che m’arresto?
what am I waiting for?

Sarò in queste contrade della gioia
Shall I stay here, to witness in my sorrow

e trionfi spettatrice dolente?
their joy and triumph?

Vedrò Idamante alla rivale in braccio,
Shall I see Idamante in the arms of my rival,

e dall’uno e dall’altra
with both of them

mostrarmi a dito?
pointing the finger at me?

Ah no; il germano Oreste
Ah no; brother Orestes,

ne’ cupi abissi io vuo’ seguir.
I will follow you into the dark abysses.

Ombra infelice!
Unhappy shade!

Lo spirto mio accogli,
Bid my spirit welcome;

or or compagna m’avrai là
now you shall have me

nell’inferno
as your companion in hell,

a sempiterni guai, al pianto eterno.
in eternal woe, weeping for ever.

#

D’Oreste, d’Aiace
I carry in my breast

Ho in seno i tormenti,
the torments of Orestes and Ajax;

D’Aletto la face
Alecto’s torch

Già morte mi dà.
already brings me my death.

Squarciatemi il cuore
Tear out my heart,

Ceraste, serpenti,
you horned vipers and serpents,

O un ferro il dolore
or else a dagger shall bring

in me finirà.
my pain to an end
